Video. Singapore's legal beatings in prison (Warning, graphic content and very disturbing)

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Below is video of the brutality which criminals have to endure in the beatings they receive in Singapore's prisons.

I am again warning that it is graphic and very painful to watch.

Although this video was sneaked out without the Malaysian authorities consent, this is exactly how it happens in Singapore too, except that the the beatings are done with even greater force and the victim suffers even more pain, if at all this is possible. The reason for this is because unlike the beater in this video who remains stationary in one place, in Singapore, he takes takes a few steps forward, almost running, before he strikes, therefore making it much more painful as it's velocity is increased as a result.

The language spoken is Malay which I understand and speak, which is also spoken in Singapore. The prison officer with the hat sitting, explains to the prisoner that he has been sentenced to 5 years in jail and will be given 20 lashes of the stick (cane).

Next to the police officer is the doctor wearing a tie. He is there to make sure that the prisoner does not die or faint. The man who beats him is a prison officer specially trained to do the beatings. His purpose is to inflict the utmost pain possible in his prisoner.

You will see at each stroke of the cane (stick) the skin tears drawing blood and the man begins to scream at some point.

I am not altogether sure of the man's crime but I believe it is rape.

If this is not enough for you to condemn these petty Singapore thugs who subject human beings to this sort of unbearable torture, I am not sure what will. Please spread the word around the world and expose these small time tyrants with a message that this sort of thing will not be tolerated in this day and age. Make them pay for this in any small way you can; for instance cancel your planned Singapore holiday, stop flying Singapore Airlines and if you can do more, picket the offices of Singapore Consulate in your country.

I wonder why anyone in his right mind would want to come and live in a country such as this! Even if you yourself are not subjected to this sort of brutality, no one with any self respect would want to have anything to do with a place such as this. Which explains why I, just like hundreds of thousands of self respecting educated Singaporeans have left Singapore and continue to leave, and why it is becoming increasingly difficult for them to attract any immigrants of any quality to reside in it.

I understand each year about 50,000 Singaporeans are giving up their citizenship for residence in the West and to replace them, Singapore's Lee Kuan Yew is bringing in 100s of thousands of Chinese peasants from the remote parts of China into Singapore. It appears no one else wants to come. Almost all educated Singapore born citizens have left the country. In essece today, Singapore is peopled primarily by recent immigrants from Communist China. With an already tiny overcrowded island of no more than 5 million people, at this rate of emigration abroad, it should be no suprise that there are no more native born educated skilled Singaporeans left.

I am sorry , it is painful to watch but if you did I thank you. I am hoping that after watching this video, one more Australian would cancel his Singapore vacation and one more Indian couple would cancel plans for their Singapore shopping trip.

Thank you.
